How to transfer to/from my Windows 10 computer using a personal hotspot Wi-Fi network?

If your telecommunications provider allows to use the Personal Hotspot on your iOS device, you can use it to transfer between your iOS device and your Windows 10 computer if you have not Wi-Fi network available.

Enable the Personal Hotspot on your iOS device. You'll find it in the iOS settings under Personal Hotspot or if you did not use it before under Mobile Data > Personal Hotspot.

Now connect your iOS device with the USB cable to your Windows 10 computer. With the hotspot enabled, the cable works like a network cable and you can transfer between your iOS device and your computer with terrific speeds when you switch to PhotoSync and start a transfer.

If you don't want to connect to your computer using the USB cable, you need to build a Wi-Fi connection from your computer to the personal hotspot of your iOS device. Search for available Wi-Fi networks using the Wi-Fi symbol in the system task bar. Your personal hotspot with the name of your iOS device is the name of the Wi-Fi network you are looking for.
