How to transfer from my Windows computer to my phone/tablet when the phone/tablet is not detected?
Make sure PhotoSync is installed on each of your devices. You can download the PhotoSync Companion app for your PC from our website under Downloads.
Select the files to be transferred, e.g. using Drag & Drop, and start the transfer. It may happen that no PhotoSync device is displayed in the device search window. Please check that you have started PhotoSync on your phone/tablet and that it is active and that both devices are on the same network and are allowed to communicate with each other.
If the automatic device detection isn't working but there is a connection possible between your PC and the phone/tablet, you can enter your phone/tablet manually and have PhotoSync companion find it. In PhotoSync on your phone/tablet please tap the red transfer button and open the Receive tab in the action menu:
Now tap the Computer icon to receive a transfer from your computer. PhotoSync will show you a website URL that you can enter in a web browser on your computer or enter it into PhotoSync Companion to detect your phone/tablet:
In the device search window on the computer change the drop down field under Search for devices from Automatic to Manual. PhotoSync will allow you to enter the address that your phone/tablet is showing you to connect. Enter the address exactly like the phone/tablet is showing it and then click the Check button to check if your phone/tablet will be found.
When PhotoSync is able to find your phone/tablet, a device found notification will be shown and you can select the target album on your phone/tablet to transfer your photos. Click Send to start the transfer process.
