Wie muss ich ESET Cyber Security Pro für den Mac konfigurieren, damit PhotoSync arbeiten kann?

The firewall in ESET Cyber Security Pro asks you to select a connecton profile for your network (Wi-Fi and/or LAN) connection when it detects a network connection. The default connection profile is Public which you should never choose because your Mac will be treated like it is connected to a public Wi-Fi hotspot and prevent all connections to devices in the same network.

If you select the connection profile for your network please choose the Home or Work profile which will allow connections to your other devices in the same network.

If you already set your network connection profile to Public, please open ESET Cyber Security Pro on your Mac and open the Setup screen.

 

Now click on Firewall to open the firewall settings.

 

 

In the firewall settings please disable and re-enable the Network traffic filtering option. This will cause a new network connection detection and you will be able to change the connection profile for your network connection. Choose Home or Work for your network connection and also set the checkmark in Remember network to make this change permanent.
